Career

New Horizon International School is a place created by people who believe that education has a real impact on the future of young people — and that it begins with the quality of teachers’ everyday work. We support children and parents in developing the competences needed to live in a changing world, caring not only about knowledge but also about students’ emotions, relationships and sense of agency.

Team

We create a working environment based on collaboration, trust and shared values. We work in an engaged, diverse team united by empathy, curiosity about the world and a readiness for continuous learning. We believe in ambitious, modern education that goes hand in hand with attentiveness to both the child and the teacher. This manifesto is an invitation to a school where we learn through action, lead by example and build a responsible, supportive community every day — one in which education truly makes sense.

What do we believe in?

  • The child at the centre — as a person in the process of development, learning independence, cooperation, and responsibility for their own learning.
  • Development beyond the curriculum — the national curriculum is the starting point, but thinking, competences and agency are key.
  • Modernity with attentiveness — technology supports a high level of cognitive work but does not replace relationships and dialogue.
  • Team, not isolation — collaboration, joint planning and shared responsibility for the quality of teaching.
  • Tools as means — STEAM, projects, CLIL, design thinking and bilingualism serve the ambitious yet thoughtful development of the child.

Who we are looking for

We are not looking for the “perfect CV”. We are looking for a teacher who:

  • facilitates the learning process rather than dictating it,
  • cares about the process, not only the completion of the syllabus,
  • inspires and asks questions that develop thinking,
  • works with active, project-based and cross-curricular methods, supporting self-regulation as a condition for effective learning,
  • sees a child’s wellbeing and cognitive development as part of a single whole,
  • is communicative, reflective and aware of their actions,
  • wants to develop professionally, acts with initiative and seeks solutions together with us,
  • communicates with respect and in a spirit of cooperation,
  • feels comfortable in a bilingual environment (a Polish teacher — with at least communicative English,
  • an English-speaking teacher — with the ability to immerse children in the language) — experience in bilingual or international schools is welcome,
  • wants to co-create a coherent system based on the Polish national curriculum and elements of Cambridge.
  • We do not want competition, a “everyone for themselves” culture, or evaluation instead of supporting development.

What we offer

  • a bilingual, supportive team and genuine collaboration,
  • mentoring and joint planning,
  • ambitious teaching and modern methods as everyday practice,
  • a small, open school that prioritises development — including that of teachers.

Who is it for?

For Years 1–3 teachers and English teachers who:

  • want to work at a strong academic level,
  • believe that high expectations and relationships can go together,
  • value good collaboration and responsibility for the quality of education.

If you are looking for a school where education makes sense, ambition goes hand in hand with attentiveness, and the development of both children and teachers is equally important — join New Horizon International School.
