Organisational Information
New Horizon International School is a private bilingual primary school that delivers the core curriculum of the Ministry of National Education, enhanced with intensive English learning and elements of bilingual education based on the Cambridge International programme.
Lessons are conducted in both Polish and English, which supports the natural development of pupils’ language skills.
The school operates on a class-based system. Lessons are conducted by a qualified teaching staff, including bilingual and English-speaking teachers.
The school year is organised according to the official Polish academic calendar, taking into account holiday breaks and non-school days. The school provides after-school care, a wide range of extracurricular activities, and pedagogical and psychological support.
The school’s goal is the harmonious development of students — academically, linguistically, and socially — in a safe, friendly, and inspiring environment.
Catering
Healthy eating is an important part of daily care for pupils. We work with a trusted catering service that prepares nutritious, tasty, and balanced meals for children every day.
We also take into account food intolerances and allergies, ensuring the safety and comfort of each pupil. Thanks to the convenient “Order a Meal” system, ordering lunches is quick and easy, providing children with the energy they need for learning, play, and proper development each day.
After-School Club
The school’s after-school club is a safe and welcoming place where pupils can spend time before and after lessons. Children have supervision, the opportunity to complete homework, participate in creative, physical, and educational activities, as well as free play. The club helps develop independence, creativity, and teamwork skills in a pleasant, supportive environment.
Parking
We provide free parking for parents for 15 minutes to allow convenient and safe drop-off of children. The parking area is located in front of the office building, directly adjacent to the school, which facilitates quick stops and smooth organisation of the morning routine.
Extracurricular Activities
Extracurricular activities at New Horizon provide opportunities for children to develop naturally – through action, play, and engaging experiences.
- Develop communication and bilingualism – children speak, collaborate, and create in two languages.
- Support mathematical and logical thinking – through robotics, coding, construction, and investigative tasks.
- Encourage creativity – children draw, paint, build, and experiment with materials, developing imagination and confidence in creating.
- Help explore the world – through experiments, practical experiences, and science projects.
- Strengthen critical thinking – through questioning, reasoning, and finding solutions.
- Provide physical activity – sports, coordination exercises, and fitness games.
The tuition includes 3 sessions within the after-school care package – including 1 in English.
We also offer additional paid activities run by external providers.
